Can you spare $6.50 to change a child's life?

$6.50 is all it takes to supply a student with the necessary supplies they need to succed in school through Operation Supply Our Students (S.O.S.).    S.O.S.  is a community wide event that provides school supplies to students across South Texas. Over 55,000 students in 37 school districts need supplies to begin the next school year with confidence.

United Way of the Coastal Bend along with KRIS Communications, H-E-B and Goodwill Industries of South Texas are teaming up for the 2008 Operation S.O.S.  From July 11th through August 20th  partcipating H-E-B  and Goodwill locations across South Texas will be selling tear-off coupons to benefit Operation S.O.S.  School supplies can also be purchased and donated at all participating H-E-B grocery stores in the Coastal Bend and donations will also be accepted at all Goodwill locations across South Texas.  

100 % of donations to Operation S.O.S go directly to supply students in need in our community.
