Emerging Leaders

Emerging leaders are up-and-coming professionals who have made a decision to LIVE UNITED by making an annual contribution to United Way of the Coastal Bend of $250 or more. Emerging leaders are invited to partner with the United Way; assuming volunteer leadership roles that not only foster personal and professional development but help build the foundation for philanthropic work throughout our community.

Through membership in the Emerging Leaders Society (ELS), young professionals engage in social, educational and networking opportunities with other like minded professionals who share a desire to help address the critical needs of our most vulnerable neighbors.

• CONNECT young professionals who are committed to their community with each other and other like minded professionals.
  
• Provide opportunities for young professionals to SERVE their community.
  
• Provide opportunities for leadership education and service that require members to LEAD.
• Build a stronger future for the Coastal Bend by supporting Society members in their efforts to advance the common good in our community.

• Receive invitations to exclusive ELS special events and community-building activities.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to developing resources to positively impact the community.
• Become recognized as a young leader in your company and our community while championing health and human service needs.
• Network with community business leaders and volunteers who are committed to philanthropic investments.
• Receive communications from United Way about how your gifts are working in the community.

• Give by payroll deduction through your participating company's United Way Campaign. Indicate on your pledge card, "I am an Emerging Leader!"
