Funded Partners

United Way of the Coastal Bend is working to advance the common good through the areas of Education, Income and Health.  By providing funding and demanding accountability of 44 programs at 37 funded partner agencies, UWCB ensures that your generous donations are hard at work making our community a better place to live, work and raise a family.  

United Way of the Coastal Bend currently serves 6 Coastal Bend counties including: Bee, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Live Oak, Nueces and San Patricio County.   Funded programs serve many varied needs such as homelessness, affordable child care, employment assistance, counseling, domestic violence, chemical dependence, abused and neglected children and much more. These partner agencies are on the front lines each day providing the direct services needed to positively shape the community.


 

Education

Education encompasses learning from birth, including physical, social, emotional and cognitive milestones, exposure to caring adults willing to mentor and teach, the opportunity to learn life skills which will impact future academic, employment and social opportunities.  

Our goal is for children to reach developmental milestones, achieve academic success and develop strong life skills which will impact future academic, employment and social opportunities.
