United Way of the Coastal Bend is working to advance the common good through the areas of Education, Income and Health. As a United Way donor, you can be assured that the nonprofit organizations receiving your investment are being carefully monitored in the areas of quality programming, governance, finance and administration. We work with programs that are serving the six county area including: Bee, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Live Oak, Nueces and San Patricio. Together we can make the Coastal Bend a better place to live, work and raise a family.

Volunteer opportunities are available at many of our Funded Partners - assisting in a local free cafeteria; helping victims of domestic violence; reading to children in a day-care or after-school program; or teaching adults to read. Please contact the organization you are interested in directly to offer your time and energy. That's what it means to LIVE UNITED.

On April 23, 2012, United Way of the Coastal Bend hosted a news conference announcing over $3.5 million in community investment to be made in programs that operate under the three Community Impact Areas: EDUCATION, INCOME and HEALTH. These investments represent dollars raised during the 2011 United Way annual workplace and individual giving campaign, and special events.
