Volunteer with Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)
VITA volunteers are needed every tax season to help as many low- to moderate-income taxpayers as possible. All volunteers receive training from IRS-certified trainers and must pass an exam before helping taxpayers file their returns.
Volunteer for the Fund Distribution Process
Our Fund Distribution Process requires many panels of community volunteers. To participate, you must be a donor and be able to dedicate 15-20 hours of time to your assigned panel.
Volunteer for Operation Supply Our Students (Operation SOS)
You can volunteer with us as an individual or corporation for sorting school supplies, stuffing the bags or for distribution day. Schools come by our building to pick up the donations and the more hands on deck, the better.

Run a Workplace Campaign
Businesses throughout the Coastal Bend region run an annual workplace campaign with us, which gives their employees a chance to donate through payroll deductions, one-time gifts and/or special events. Participate in the Golf Classic
Every year, we host our Golf Classic–a great event where the community to comes together and golfs for a good cause. Proceeds from this event benefit our Community Investment Fund, which we use to change lives in the areas of education, health and financial stability.
