HOW TO RUN A CAMPAIGN
Running a United Way Workplace Campaign is an incredible way to impact thousands of lives right here in the Coastal Bend. It is not hard to plan a successful campaign and the results are amazing! We have compiled a list of tips for you to use as a starting point and have staff available to assist you in your planning. The best way to get started is to attend a training session. The following are available for 2008:
ECC 101 Training: These training sessions are designed for NEW campaign coordinators. If this is your first time coordinating the campaign for your company, you don't want to miss this! Items to be covered include: the role of an ECC, campaign materials available from United Way, the importance and how-to's of setting a goal at your company, and tips to ensure success from our seasoned fundraising staff!
Advanced ECC Training: Specifically designed for campaign coordinators who have previously served their company as the ECC, this training session will provide insights and ideas to spark excitement in your campaign within all levels of your organization. Topics such as Leadership Giving, special event promotion, campaign budgeting and year-round engagement are just a few things that will be covered. Come, learn from each other and make your campaign even more successful than previous years!

July 8th: ECC 101 Training (3:30-5:00)
July 9th: Advanced ECC Training (3:30-5:00)
July 17th: ECC 101 Training (1:00-2:30)
July 23rd: ECC Advanced Training (10:00-11:30)
August 1st: Pacesetters Kick-Off
August 7th: ECC 101 Training (3:30-5:00)
August 26th: ECC Training 101 (10:00-11:30)
August 27th: ECC Training Advanced (10:00-11:30)
September 1st: Campaign Kicks-off with all Community Partners
December 19th: Campaign Ends
All Training sessions will be held at the United Way offices, located at 711 N. Carancahua Street, Suite 302.
