Catrina Steinocher, President and CEO
|
|
Catrina Steinocher was appointed President and CEO of United Way of the Coastal Bend in January 2006. Her vision for United Way of the Coastal Bend includes working to ensure our donors know their gift to United Way is the most effective, leveraged charitable contribution they could ever make in the community.
A native of Corpus Christi, Ms. Steinocher holds both Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees from Corpus Christi State University. Prior to joining United Way of the Coastal Bend in January 2006 she served the Women's Shelter of South Texas in varying capacities for 20 years with the last 8 as Executive Director.
Ms. Steinocher is honored by the opportunity to lead the United Way of the Coastal Bend. "I am excited to have joined an organization which has the capacity to bring the leaders of change to the table and create long-term positive outcomes for our community as a whole."

Robert McCarty, Controller/Chief Financial Officer

Robert L. McCarty, CPA, joined United Way of the Coastal Bend in April 2006 as Controller and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. McCarty is responsible for the overall financial operations of the United Way of the Coastal Bend including accounting, grant management, and financial reporting.
Mr. McCarty brings 25 years experience in accounting and finance with nonprofit organizations both as a CPA in public practice auditing nonprofit entities and as a financial manager employed by such. Mr. McCarty most recently served seven years as the Comptroller for the Women's Shelter of South Texas.

Amy Towery, Resource Development Director

Amy Towery joined the Leadership team at United Way of the Coastal Bend in June of 2006 as the Resource Development Director. She oversees the fund raising and development aspects for UWCB including annual campaign initiatives such as special events, workplace giving, online giving and direct marketing.
Prior to joining United Way of the Coastal Bend, Mrs. Towery served as the Annual Fund Director at a large nonprofit in Tampa, Florida where she successfully led multi-million dollar fund raising initiatives.
Mrs. Towery holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from The University of Utah as well as a Certificate in Fundraising Management from The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University and is currently pursuing her CFRE.

Donna Hurley, Community Services Director

Donna Hurley joined the United Way of the Coastal Bend as Community Services Director in April 2006. In her role, she manages the funding allocations process and provides technical assistance for partner agencies. In addition, Ms. Hurley oversees 211-United Way Information and Referral Services and organization community impact initiatives.
Prior to joining United Way of the Coastal Bend Ms. Hurley served the Women's Shelter of South Texas in a variety of positions including Community Services Director and Shelter Services Director. She brings with her extensive experience in the areas of program development, outcome measurement, phone center management, and grants management.
Ms. Hurley holds a BA from Central Connecticut State University and an MS from Corpus Christi State University.
