Community Resiliency Fund

UWCB Community Resiliency Fund

United Way of the Coastal Bend (UWCB) has established the ongoing Community Resiliency Fund to be able to respond instantly to community-wide emergencies, such as natural disasters, epidemics and economic crises. With partnerships already in place with more than 60 Coastal Bend nonprofit organizations, UWCB is uniquely situated to respond quickly and efficiently, providing the funding required to immediately provide services for those in need.

UWCB has a simple application process for emergency funding, while also collecting and reporting data on the number of people served and services provided. Such reporting is provided to donors and the public, as transparent operations is one of UWCB’s core values.

While UWCB has been highly successful in raising and distributing funds following past emergency situations, ensuring such monies are on hand before an emergency happens means people can be helped even sooner. Please consider supporting the Community Resiliency Fund to ensure the Coastal Bend is prepared for future challenges.
