Making a difference - Debbie's Story

"When I walked in here, I’d been living on the streets and in hotel rooms, and I didn’t feel like I was human anymore. I didn’t feel like I had value."

When Debbie stepped on to the path to recovery from addiction over 20 years ago, she walked into Cenikor (formerly Charlie's Place) with just a backpack and one shoe. Debbie shares how your support provided access to treatment and recovery resources that helped her overcome addiction and granted her a new lease on life that led to a career serving others battling addiction.
