United Way of the Coastal Bend mobilizes to aid local COVID-19 response and relief efforts

To address local needs, United Way of the Coastal Bend is mobilizing resources to help support COVID-19 response and relief efforts in the Coastal Bend.

The organization has established a COVID-19 fund that will be used to support local non-profit agencies that provide direct services, as well as community efforts to minimize the health and economic impacts of the virus.

“It’s important that we do what we can as a community to support each other,” said Libby Averyt, President & CEO of United Way of the Coastal Bend. “We’re continuing to work with local agencies and partners to meet the needs of Coastal Bend residents and help keep everyone safe and healthy.”

All donations made to the COVID-19 fund will be used for response and relief efforts in the Coastal Bend.
